CLC Office Manager
My family and I have been members of Christ Lutheran Church since 1995. I left the banking business after 21 years of service in 2005 to become the secretary of Christ Lutheran Church. My primary role is to assist the pastors and congregation with their needs. I take great pride and joy in fulfilling these duties. I feel very blessed to be a member of the Christ Lutheran Church family.
Faith Formation Admin
Carleen & her husband Chip joined Christ Lutheran in 1999 and have 2 teenage daughters. She coordinates all of the youth activities, service projects, fundraisers & other various youth events throughout the year. She also handles registrations for our synod youth gatherings and summer camp programs.
Kristin and I have three kids, and we have been members of CLC since 2009. I began my career as Church Administrator for CLC in May 2019. Prior to that, I spent 20 years in banking wearing many hats including branch manager, support operations manager, loan officer, internal auditor, and credit analyst. I also spent about 1 1/2 years as CLC’s Treasurer. I am excited to serve my CLC family as the Church Administrator and it is my intention to perform all tasks keeping in mind that my primary mission is to balance and mesh the structure and efficiency of a well-run business environment with the workings of the Holy Spirit, always focusing on what is best for CLC, its congregation, the ELCA, and the broader Body of Christ.
Matthew Daude Laurents
Director of Music, Organist
Director, Christ Lutheran Learning Center
I became a church member in 1980 and soon after was asked to teach the four year old preschool class at Christ Lutheran Learning Center. I taught pre-k for 15 years before becoming the director in 1996. The Learning Center is very dear to my heart and has been a wonderful ministry since 1977 to many families at Christ Lutheran and the surrounding Georgetown / Round Rock communities. We continually strive to offer a clean, safe, loving, and nurturing program which will provide each child a wide variety of learning experiences in a Christian environment.
