Christ Lutheran members continually fill the Caring Place barrel (placed in our narthex), and some CLC members volunteer there regularly. We also support it monetarily. http://www.caringplacetx.org/ The annual Crop Walk in which we have had over 20 walkers and collected over $2,000. It is held in October. 25% of the proceeds raised to fight hunger will stay in the Georgetown community with 12.5% going to the Caring Place.
